BRIDESMAIDMANIA III was May 13th!
we had SUCH a blast, and here are hundreds of photos to prove it!

If you're in the neighbourhood, please drop in to Springfest at Downsview Park May 6 from 11am to 4pm. There will be music, a Horticulture and Gardening show, and many artisans of all kinds. I'll have a booth full of small & medium sized springish paintings. Then later that night I'll be performing spoken word at a fundraiser for the Coffeehouse Summer Arts Festival. Pop by The Black Swan, 154 Danforth Ave (near Broadview) around 9pm.

only two more sleeps until the TINFOIL HAT CONTEST!!!. i'm so excited i could burst. amazing musicians, local celebrity judges, talented (and competitive) artists, engineering and weirdos, all in a venue with Very Good Beer. what better way to celebrate April Fool's Night?

bits & pieces... just a note that I'm going to be even busier now that I've been invited to join The Art Bar Board of Directors. awesome!
also, two new Spring paintings are in the Gallery, i'm starting a writing course for five weeks to kick me into high gear, and the second annual Tinfoil Hat Contest will be April First. details to come.

the the Design Hope Auction was fantastic - thank you to the great folks who bid on my painting! Two separate parties were bidding back and forth like pros for a while there, it was freaky to watch.

where did january go? i think i blinked and missed it.
I'm really looking forward to the fundraiser on Feb. 10. Met most of the artists on Friday - such lovely people, and amazing artwork! I was completely intimidated by the talent in that room. Check the Design Hope website for photos of all the art, and details of the event.
the contest is gearing up - be sure to enter by Feb. 11th to win one of three paintings!
