News Report

ART
i'm working on new pieces for the show on the 28th. also, my biggest collector is coming to the studio on saturday, and i'm going to convince her to buy 10 paintings to help clear out the studio. i'm pure evil. i'll also be updating the gallery soon, really.
WRITING
i've been fiddling with some new poetry, and compiling things for a new CD. my first CD came out several years ago, and it's high time i was cracking on something new.
i'm hosting a crazy kick ass poetry show in august and you'll love it.

LIFE
wedding planning isn't super stressful yet, but there are a zillion things to do. please forgive me if i miss some shows, parties, and events over the next two months.

thanks so much to everyone who cam out for the third annual Toronto Tinfoil Hat Contest! i cannot believe that we had 37 contestants! it was mentioned on CBC radio, and there was a clip on CTV news. sassy!

i've been very quiet lately. sometimes art is full of action and creativity, sometimes one needs a lot of quiet time and reflection. i'm in a quiet spell, but that's how things brew. i'm thinking of new styles - both painting and writing. i'm thinking of performance art and jewelry making and wedding planning. i've been knitting.
